Located in Goleta, CA off the north side of Highway 101, Timbers is a traditional steak and BBQ joint with a bar, indoor seating, patio, and event space, ready to cater to every occasion whether its family dinner, date night, wedding, or a work party. Our outdoor dog-friendly patio features plenty of games like foosball, cornhole, giant connect 4, ping pong, an outdoor pool table, along with table-top fire pits.

With all the essentials when it comes to American BBQ and comfort food, Timbers Roadhouse offers a fine selection of steak cuts, burgers, fish and chips, grilled fish, BBQ ribs and chicken, and a signature oxtail mac and cheese that is a crowd favorite. With a variety of options, Timbers has items that cater to those with food restrictions and offers vegetarian options including lasagna, beyond meat burgers, and numerous vegetarian sides and appetizers. Finish any meal off with indulgent desserts ranging from olive oil cake to crème brûlée.
Rooted in History
Originally founded after World War II, the establishment was built in the 1950s out of materials that came from a pier that was shelled in the war. After undergoing several changes in owners, names, and visions, this historic restaurant and location is back after a 15-year hiatus under new ownership with its original name. The new owners are looking to revive the historic spirit of the location and emphasize the restaurant’s role in California’s history. One of the owners has been a local her whole life and is ready to revitalize Timbers Roadhouse as an essential neighborhood spot through a vision and attachment to the unique story and architecture of the restaurant. Furnished with historical context and artifacts including original restaurant pieces like silverware from the 1950s, visitors of the venue will have a dining experience enriched by culture, novelty, and a memorable story.
